Stoptech 14" BBK Installed
Well, I spent yesterday and today installing my 14" Stoptech BBK which has been sitting in the garage for the past two weeks.
Below are a couple of pics. More can be found at my website.
As far as the installation, the Stoptech manual is pretty straight forward.
The rears were the most time consuming because of the dust shield and making the caliper bracket flush.
1- I found it easier to use tin-snips to cut the dust shield as compared to my Dremel cutting wheel
2- DO NOT use a grinder to make the caliper mounting bracket flush. Grab a file and you'll have it looking pretty in no time flat
3- Getting a wrench with enough leverage to torque the caliper mounting brackets is tough but doable
4- I adjusted my e-brake while I had everything off. Pretty easy process
5- Rather than trimming my dust shields up front, I just simply removed them by removing 4- 17 mm bolts that hold the wheel hub to the axle
I'll have more pics up in the next couple of days on my website.
Oh...my OEM Brembos are for sale. More details and pics to be posted within the next couple of days on my site.
ENJOY!!!

Looking good Vinh! Those look bad a**! Suprised you didn't get custom yellow ones to match your car & to contrast your black wheels. Either way it still looks really good. I'd choose black as well since they are the best in keeping their color. Plus, it gives a nice mean & stealthy look!

yeah...I went for that subtle look.
when people look at this car, I want the paint job to be the first thing they see. I figure if I got red brakes, it would stand out too much. Silver and blue wasn't an option.
color matching crossed my mind, but I'll stick with black for now.
