Exclamation urgent-please help: spring install > noise

A friend and I installed Hotchkis lowering springs on my '04 touring 6spd today - compared to the camaro/firebird suspensions we've changed before, it was a lot simpler.

I followed and torqued everything according to these instructions:
https://my350z.com/forum/brakes-and-suspension-diy/46741-eibach-springs-installed-with-pics-and-instruction-g35-coupe.html

The car looks great but there's noise coming from the front. Kind of a cluttering/clunking when the car goes over cracks/bumps in the road (i.e. broken pavement, in and out of driveways). I double checked all the bolts underneath and on top. Only one I didn't torque with a torque wrench was the top strut bolt, which was put on with an impact wrench at the shop. I took the front coilover assemblies to a shop with a compressor to change the springs.
The top strut bolt just spins with the strut shaft when I try to tighten it. How do I torque this down? and is there a way to tighten it on-the-car??

Please help - daily driver.

Thanks.
Brian

You have to hold the strut rod with something while you torque down the top strut bolt.
