Default Brake Caliper Covers

http://www.formulaimage.com/products...px?prod_id=400
I was wondering if anyone has used these or knows of someone who has. I am about to put some 19" wheels on my Z and I dont have enough money for a big brake upgrade right now. I was not really excited about painting my stock calipers, so I was thinking this might be a better option over painting the stock calipers. It seems to be some type of cover that goes over the caliper. It does not really show how it mounts or anything but I was wondering how they would look in person.

For $225, you might as well paint them yourself or have them powdercoated. It will be much cheaper than buying these things.

I guess it will be stock painted calipers for a while. I did not even realize the heat factor. Thanks for your opinions. Mr King Tut I was not joking I needed some opinions between painting stock calipers and the product in question, not everyone can purchase big brake kits like you.

Just get them powdercoated by 2003Z, he charges way less than that insane price!

Besides they look about as ghey as these,

I don't care if those things are $20. That is lame. I seriously can't believe someone actually posted this thread...

I'd suggest painting them for $35 (cost of paint).

caliper covers are the epitome of being a ricer.......a mod that tries to portray something as more than it really is, but in actual fact decreases the performance of the part being modified

u can buy quite a few crates of red spray paint for 200 bucks

wow that is funny because i made the same thing three years ago and to make a finished product will cost around $30 or so, tried to sell them through wheel wearhouse but they said that it would b a big liability to screw those 2 the caliper i put a set of mine on my last car and never had a problem i tracked it and all...
damn it i could have made a lot of money if i hadnt given up..
