Default Non-Brembo upgrades...???

So I saw in a Mag that there are breaks by a company (maybe RB, or Stop-Tech) that offers a better caliper and roater package for no Brembo cars. I don't know if they are all that much bigger, but Im not in the market to spend 4K on breaks. I think that advertised price was lower than $1200 for the whole set, fronts and rears. Problem is I forget who makes them... Anyone know? and if so what are the specs and is it worth it? I was figureing when the time comes to get new break pads and calipers just get these, about the same price as a full set of factory breaks.

I think so, is that price for front and rear. I didn't really catch that in the post, and why are they soo cheap. They are made by RB whicch is a good company. It seems to be better than paying the 4K for other systems. Can someone better explain this to me?

Read the description. The package does NOT include new calipers:

Caliper: Stock Caliper with one integral piece extended bracket

I have the front kit on my car. Since I already had pads & stainless lines it made sense to keep those upgrades.

Overall, it works really well on track.

Best of all, it's a quick bracket swap to reinstall my OEM brakes to fit under my 16" winter steelies. No need to fuss/mess with a brake line disconnect.

If you want to retain stock-sized parts, here's a good solution:
StopTech Stage 2:
Stage 2 brake upgrade includes StopTech stainless steel brake lines for front and rear, 3 bottles of Motul 600 brake fluid, Axxis Ultimate pads for front and rear, and 4 slotted or drilled stock-sized rotors. FITS STOCK CALIPERS.
Retail $699.

If you want the best bang for the buck full big brake kit, I'd recommend our 332mm front kit: retail $1995. This is the same kit I use on my personal car constantly on the track and street...never a problem. You don't need to spend $4k. This kit and some good race pads for the track is all you'll ever really need.

FRONT KIT: 332 x 32 mm Rotor/ 4 Piston Caliper

Two Wheel Front Big Brake Kit Includes:

- 2 Piece Floating Directional 332x32mm AeroRotors
- 4 Piston ST-40 Calipers
- Stainless Steel Brake Lines (Front Only)
- Caliper Mounting Brackets
- Street Performance Pads (Front Only)

PLEASE ORDER RACE PADS SEPARATELY
PLEASE CHECK WHEEL FITMENT USING CHARTS ON:

Check out our website for more details, and enough brake info to make your head spin! www.stoptech.com

+1 for the 13" Stop Techs. If you are going to track the car regularly, they can't be beat. Lots of pad choices too.
