I think it's even easier to install the shocks and springs at the same time.

All you have to do is have the aftermarket springs already on the new shocks and then they'll just swap em out. They won't have to take the stock springs OFF the stock shocks to put the aftermarket ones on.Then do that whole process again when you get your shocks.

If you were paying me to do it, I would rather you had the shock and springs ready.

it takes approx. five hours to do the install if it is your first time provided you got all the necessary tools. i've been there and done that. DIY save your money.

that's not true. If installing shocks and springs, not a set of coilovers, the stock shock and spring would still have to be disassembled for the top hat (not sure if that is the correct name) and the dust boot.

I still say if you are going to pay a shop to do the work, and you plan on getting shocks in the future, just bite the bullet now and do it all at once.

That's right, most aftermarket shocks don't have the stinkin top-hats. I installed my friends springs, then went back to do the whole fuggin process AGAIN with his new shocks using his stock top-hats. I just remembered that shiet! My coilovers are another story...

But the point still remains, do it all at once. If I was a shop I'd curse someone for coming back and charge that person twice.

costs about the same to install springs or coilovers. Here, shops charge about $100usd for either. Don't know about where you are tho. Good luck buddy.
