Default ZISME: Can Brembo Brakes be installed on Touring Model?

This has been posted before, but I was wondering if you could provide some insight:

Would it be possible to add the Brembo brake system to a stock Touring model 350Z at some point as an aftermarket add-on? If not, what are the limiting factors (wheel offset, spoke clearance, etc)?

Thanks.

just a guess, but among those factors might also be: mounting location (holes) on the suspension for the brakes.

Default Answer should be yes

I upgraded barkes on my last 300TT and the only thing to consider was wheel size / offset to clear the larger calipers. Its also a great time to replace rubber brake lines with stainless steel for a firmer pedal feel.

We'll have to see what kind of clearance the Touring wheels spokes provide to see if they clear the bigger calipers, otherwise you'll have to buy new wheels. Mounting points should be a non issue.

You might want to also see if the master cylinder is the same as well.

Should be a direct "plug & play".

For some reason I thought if you get the 6-speed on the touring, then your wheels increased to 18's and performance tires, which I assumed to be the same already on the track model. Am I way off?

I know you don't get the Brembo's but I thought the 18's were the Rays.
