I dunno about you guys but I purchased the Tanabe NF 210 springs because I heard they were pretty good...but the only shocks I was going to get were the Koni Yellows which I got quote $749 shipped...so the way I figure it is $175 Tanabe springs + $749 Koni Yellow shocks = TEIN BASIC COILOVERS...Someone tell me if I'm wrong because right now I'm trying to flip the Tanabe's because I found a site where their selling basics for $790 shipped to the door. Anybody got any suggestions?

I plan installing my H&R springs within the next month, I bought shocks also and I am pre-assembiling the fronts, can the springs be put on upside down or is their only one way they go on?
Disregard the above question, I assembled them today, now I need to find time to put them on.
ocdavid do you have any pictures of your car with the new springs?
Thanks.

Tanabe GF210 Series 350Z progressive springs 1”/1.2”
Spring rates in LBS 336/375 (only peak rates are published, softer initial progressive rates unknown)
Stiffer then oem springs by F+7% R+10% (vs 03/04,..04.5+ have stiffer oem rear rates)
Not enough spring and too much drop, even when trimmed, you'll be running into the bump stops which will effect your ride quality on less them smooth pavement. Here's a thread from a Koni/GF210 owner as a perfect example.
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ht=koni+bounce
The Koni's should really only be used with oem springs or drops like Hotchkis, RSR and S-tech. Though I have managed to make them work with Tokico D-spec springs by using the higher front sping perch position, spacers over the rear springs, and special Koni cutdown Koni progressive front soft bump stops. I do have to push out the rebound control almost to it's limit in the front however (I'm 1/8 turn from full)
Tein Basic vs Tanabe GF210 setup, you are quite a bit apart in car feel, the Basics are going to be much firmer, though having the whole piston stroke thing being worked out does make a differance in the Basics favor.
Tein Basic (twin tube construction, non adjustable dampners )
Spring rates 504/504
Stiffer then oem by F+61% R+43%(vs 03/04,..04.5+ have stiffer oem rear rates)
