Default Any Project Mu B-Force owners?

I'm starting to be convinced that these pads are crap. I installed them and bedded them and no go on silence. The squeak real loud on me. I understand they are a more aggrressive pad but the squeak is LOUD. I don't mind a small sqeak/noise.

I knew i should have went with Endless.

I installed them myself. I broke them in braking softly for 400 miles followed by starting to get a bit more aggressive and then bedding them. The rotors look just fine. Today i went ahead and bedded them on 417 from faster speeds. After bedding and when they're warm the noise goes away but it'll most likely return.

well you are suppose to do it like this at the beginning..

1) drive like 50 mph and stop hard to 10mph but dont lock up the brakes
2) do it like 5 times
3) cool down and do it again
4) but dont lock up the brakes
5) if u lock it up...the rotor might heat up too fast and u'll warp the rotor

He probably didnt bed them in properly. If you follow Volk350Z's advise I think you should be okay though you have already been driving on them for a while.

That's what i did. I found that procudure searching the forums.

How would i know if my rotors are warped? What should i look out for? I did bedding from 80-90 mph yesturday and i see slight discoloration around the middle of the rotor.

you can get your rotor turned to fix the warpage...most places have machines that turn the rotor while its still on the car so its cheaper labor wise

Sometimes brakes are noisy. Does that make them crap? Hardly.

I'm sure a little bit of the right grease in the right spots (not on the rotor :P ) and you will have no more noise.

If you see the "discoloration at the center of the rotor" that usually means the bedding in was successful (I think!) at least, it was like that when I bedded mine in.

For the record, my axxis ultimate pads squealed really bad when I first got them on. They only squealed when I was braking lightly. This happened for like 1500-2000 miles even though they were bedded in properly. Now they are dead silent. Go figure.

Maybe you're right. I'll report back a couple of miles later... The noise is real loud though

Yeah, I didn't break mine any using any type of break-in procedure. I just installed them and drove on them normally. I experienced some loud squeaking when they were new, cold or hot. And now I RARELY hear them squeak, and it they do, its not very loud at all, I have to have the windows down and listen for it to hear it.

I've had mine for about 10k or so now, maybe a little more in the front.
