Default Battle Version 350z caster arms - prototype

For those of you that have been looking for a way to adjust your caster on your Z33, check this out:

Alex came by to show us the prototype shown above. As with all his products, he utilizes a beefy Aurora spherical bearing and reinforced the welded joint with additional aluminum for durability and strength.

If you have seen the Nagisa Auto arms, they are very similar however the Battle Versions have a bit more reinforcement where the spherical bearing end is welded on and use a more superior bearing.

At the moment pricing is not available. Basically Alex wants to get some feedback and check the interest level.

I'll take one whenever it comes out.

I've been looking at the Nagisa Auto ones and ALMOST bought one (biggest problem was that they weren't exactly selling them yet).

So put this thing on the market, price it anywhere lower than the Nagisa Auto ones (which are through the roof expensive) and you have one buyer right here, no questions asked!

It will definitely be cheaper than the $1,180 price of the Nagisa Auto arms.

I'm VERY interested, assuming the price is right. Please keep us posted on these (particularly the price).

Gah. We need more interest than this as he says he'd like make a decently large batch or else he's not going to produce them.

What is caster adjustment needed for? Just curious.

is this just a stock piece with the ball joint removed and a CNC threaded eye welded on?

Yes they are.

Question,
What sort of handling effects can we expect from changes to castor on the 350z?

please make it! I can adjust caster for wider wheel front clearance during rebound/compression along with the camber!

You have wide tire/wheel clearance issues that you've pinned castor as at fault and less is the cure?

Curious what everyone that is asking for these parts to be made has in their mind as a new go to number. Most oem car's are at 7 to 8 degree's. What number will you go to?

My plan for something like this is not to go to a dramatically different number. Rather, it's to undo the so-called TSB 'pull to the right fix' that I had done a couple of years ago. I was under the impression that this TSB actually addressed some sort of design or alignment flaw, when all it did was put in a new arm that pushed the caster on the right side to a noticeably higher number than on the left. Yeah, technically, it fixes the pull, but at the price of steering response to the right not being as snappy as response to the left.

I wanted to come out of that TSB with equal steering response in both directions, when it turns out that's not the case. So something that allows me to set caster will give me an option for dealing with this (although I remain disappointed, still after 4 years, that I own a 'performance' car that came from the factory without the ability to adjust caster or camber in the front.)

I'm not really liking the design. I'd rather adjust caster on the upper arm than on one of the lower links.
