All directional posts are correct, your rotors are turning backwards

OEM replacement Brembo rotors are usually pillar vaned and not directional. Brembo 2 peice big brake kit rotors do have directional vanes and must be installed on the correct side to promote proper airflow and cooling.

Ah, ok; cool. Had me worried there for a sec.

Default Switched Rotors!!

I went ahead and switched the Rotor direction. Can someone tell me why the Brembo GT 14' Rotor direction is different than most vehicles. Before mounting them the first time, I compared them to my 911 and that rotor was opposite to my current 350Z setting. Go figure 350Z has to be different. Take a look and let me know what you think?

Looks great! Do you have a straight shot, one that is not oblique to the rotors? Reason I ask is that it appears as though this bbk actually moves the caliper closer to horizontal. If that's the case then is should help reduce the infamous pad knockback that plagues the other Z brake setups (I have the stock Brembos, very bad knockback)

I haven't experienced the knockback as you stated. Thanks for the heads up!

I posted the answer to the question ealier on in the thread here:

Brembo rotors are directional like ours and can for the most part be installed with the same regard to internal vane direction as listed here:

http://www.stoptech.com/tech_info/faqs.shtml#16

Slot or drill direction cannot be used as a way to determine rotor direction as desings vary between manufacturers. We happen to drill and slot our rotors perpendicular to the internal vanes for structural integrity much like Brembo and some other manufacturers. It is not a 350Z thing as this applies to every kit they offer much like ours. The rotors should be labelled or include documentation on which way they are to be installed and those recommendations should be followed for optimal airflow and performance.

you probably won't experience knockback unless you track your Z or take turns at 2.5 times the posted "recommended" speeds
