Default Dusty brake pads

Can't find any useful info.
I have Stoptech 13' BBK in the front which came with Axxis Ultimates and I am running stock in the rear. The Axxis pads are so dusty, that I have to clean my wheels to at least once a week, which I do not like and the wheels are becomming scrached due to constant cleaning. Otherwise my front wheels are just covered in brake dust in a day or two of normal daily driving (less than 50 miles city driving daily).
I am thinking of swiching to EBC Greenstuff which claims to be 40% less dust.
Any experiences with these on Stoptech? Maybe anyone has handy part# of EBC Greenstuff for Stoptech 4 pot calipers?
Thanks.

best bet is a set of ceramics - they will offer the least amount of dust

You can always go with our low dust pad option, the Axxis Deluxe Plus. It has quite a bit less bite than the Ultimates, but you will almost never feel the need to clean your wheels due to brake dust. They have a list price of about $55 for the front set

I've been doing some more research and it looks like it is naive to expect good pad bite and little dust...
BTW, would changing the rear pads to better ones (I am running OEM now) help anyhow with the dust in the fronts?

^^How would changing the back pads affect the front pads dust? I have Hawk HPS and there is little to no dust. However, they are pretty noisy.

I have the same issue. I have the same kit all around and can't stand the dust. I've talked to a couple of peolpe who are running the same set up, which they said to use Hawk HPS. Do they really work??? But that's what I'm going to put on next. I feel your pain with the wheel scratches!!! Goodluck!

Just carry some microfiber cloths and a quick-detailer with you. Takes 1 minute tops to clean each wheel.

Never sacrifice braking performance for looks...

im scared as hell to clean my volk lips using this method. they scratch too easily, i feel better when i use a pressure spray to get most of the dust off first. i really wouldnt recommend using your method unless you're ok with hairline scratches on your lips, this is of course if your lips are cear coated.

If your wheels are freshly waxed or sealed (i.e. zaino'd) then you will not scratch your wheels by using a quick detailer and a clean microfiber or 100% cotton cloth.

If the brake dust is baked/stuck on the wheels (sometimes brake dust forms little "islands" or "cakes"), then I would wait until you wash to deal with it.

I was thinking that having more grip in the rear, would release some grip in the front. Less grip = less dust. Or is this assumption wrong?

you are correct to a degree, but adding something like Axxis Ultimate in the rear will lead to a minor increase in front brake dust, with a major increase in rear brake dust. Instead of having really dirty front wheels, youll have 4 marginally less dirty wheels...pick your poison
