Default Question about stock strut bar ?

Does anyone know if the stock strut bar is made of aluminum ? I am in the process of polishing all of the aluminum piping on my greddy tt kit and would like to polish the strut bar if possible.

i believe it is - hollow aluminum with some sorta silicon liquid in the middle

i thought it was a polyurethane foam in the middle?

hmm maybe it is, for some reason i thought some sorta liquid was in the middle, either way probably doesn't matter much

Well I guess Im gonna give it hell and try to polish, if it doesnt work i guess im gonna have to paint again.

When you cut it in half did you notice if it was steel or aluminum ?

Wouldn't using a magnet be an easier way to tell?

Possible but for some reason i do not have a single magnet at my house...
