Default Tein Coilovers And My Cheapness!

Maybe I Am Asking A Stupid Question But It Seems From All Of The Pictures And All Of The Descriptions That I Have Found On The Internet That The Tein Basic Coilovers Have No ????????pillow Mount I Think? (plate On Top Of Spring ) The Rest Of Them Have The Plate Soooooooo Does Anyone Have The "tein Basics" If So Your Input Will Be Greatly Appreciated......thanks

If you can spring for the flex's get the flex's. I'm happy with the basic's quality though.

you are correct - the Tein Basic does not include upper mounts - you reuse the stock ones

I concur.

Tein BASIC = no upper mount

FLEX, CST include an upper mount.

Oh man cause I think my mounts are going bad cause when I hit a bump the front two make some weird sounds. Kinda like my moms 04 maxima which is known to have those problems. Damn nissans

it could be the strut mounts but unlikely - check your ball joints, tie rods, steering rack mounts - much more likely culprits

Is it possible to tighten stuff down too much? I went back and tightened everything to make sure everything was good.
