I've been looking for some info on those as well, and have not been able to find a good review. Maybe my search skills are lacking...

Their has only been one, maybe two review's that I have ever seen. Don't feel bad about your search results.

Here is a review of silkroads that I found.
http://www.turboculture.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48

Looks like the rear springs are progressive??
Or is that an option when you buy the silks?
I thought I saw someone mentioning that they are all linear...

I see.
Have you tracked with the set-up?
Does it use OEM top mounts and any noises?
How do you like the adjusments on it?

yes..tracked and drifted. They're pretty firm..I have both front and rear damping set at 4 clicks. Sorry, I forgot the length of preload from the top mounts...been really happy with the setup so I havent changed anything much. They are a great complement to the progress tech swaybars.

It uses OEM style mounts and I can't hear any noise and, adjustments are easy...but like all G35s, the rear takes a little more effort. You can also convert them to conventional coilovers. If you go that route, I recommend replacing the springs with SWIFTS.

Just waiting on them to blow so I can pick me up a set of Ohlins

F2's. Go to www.f2autolife.com and cheak out the coilover, and if you need you can go down to their shop and they can give you a ride in their G35 that has the coilovers. I have ridden in the car and i love it, it is an awsome ride (specially compared to the Tein Flex on my cuzins G).

Oki..

Here comes my noob question. I like to take turns fast pretty much like everyone else it seems. Best coilover for around the 1k - 1.5k mark is.......???

Seems like the tein basic gets good reviews for their price point, or perhaps the Stance, (HKS RS are just outside of my price range but seems everyone here glows about their performance). I do intend to do some track time, but my work limits my Z time. So until I come home for good, I would think maybe tracking 3-4 times a year at most. Recommendations?
