For the money, the Tokico D-Spec is a great shock. I would match them up with a set of Eibach Sportline, or Pro Kit springs, depending on how much of a drop you want. Great combination IMO.

----------------------------------------------------
Tokico D-spec shock & spring package 350Z - DSK512
Spring rates in LBS 375f/375r - Linear Springs 1"/1"
Eibach 350Z progressive springs 1”/1” drop
Spring rates in LBS initial/final front 296/384 initial/final rear 316/421
Eibach 350Z sportline progressive springs 1.2"/1.2" (notice the wide rate spreads)
Front: 239/400 Rear: 257/435
Peak rates may be slightly higher on the Eibachs, but the D-spec springs have the advantage because they do not have their compromise on performance by having to compress past the softer inital rates or experience sudden rate change. All 4 corners experience the same rate regardless of what your asking of the car, cornering, braking, acceleration, or spin recovery
