You do know that your brakes are what stops your car right? Can you really put a price on you and your car's safety? I would rather put out the extra bit to get decent brakes..... Brakes are one thing you do not want to cheap out on.

I just had front and rear Hawk+'s put on, plus a rotors resurfaced and brake fluid. Holy crap does it stop alot better than stock. The pads really arent that pricey... think I paid little bit under 140 for the pads (front and rear). Just get ready to wash your rims, they throw alot of dust...

And at the vehicular homocide trial the defendant was surprised that the prosecution produced copies of emails, forum posts, and purchase recepits for CHEAP brake pads where the defendent redesigned his oem braking system with negligent indifference to oem stopping power.
An examination of the defendents car showed these inferior pads to be on the vehicle after the impact which killed the Jones child.
The defendent didn't inform his insurance company that he had made a significant modification to his vehicle and violated the terms of his agreement so the insurance company is refusing to pay his claim citing the modification clause.

If you want the cheapest, get some from Autozone, PepBoys, etc. If you want inexpensive or reasonably priced high-performance pads, then you probably ought to consider something else.
My only concern about the Hawk HPS pads is that the OP is in Toronto. There have been quite a few posts about how much HPS pads suck in the cold and wet.

Everyone says, but few if any hard scientific test data that aftermarkets exceed or even meet oem in normal street driving across - cold to warm temperature range.
Sure aftermarkets can be tilted to work better above 600F, but at what temperature do most brake on the street 100-200F?
A single panic stop from 60 mph only raises rotors by 120-150F in summer that might be 250F max at the end of such a panic stop.
For those ROUTINELY [daily=weekly] panic stopping from 120 MPH something other than oem might be considered as this will raise the rotors by 500F yielding 600F in summer.
