Another reason why you should buy from the vendors on this site.

My www.autowarehouse.com horror story:

I ordered the Injen Super SES Cat-Back Exhaust System on January 10, 2005. I received an immediate conformation.
On April 10, 3 months later, I called and was told “We cancelled your order on January 11. We no longer stock the Injen Super SES Cat-Back Exhaust System.”

I waited 3 months for nothing.

^ I feel your pain man, but why would you wait 3 months before calling? I would be all over them after 3 weeks.

If they sent him the wrong part, it's the shippers fault. Whether he bought or didn't buy insurance is irrelevant in his case.

True. But he didn't give any details. If it was a phone order, then he really has no proof. If it was an internet order, then he ought to have some confirmation to back it up. There's a lot of "ifs" in this situation without knowing all the details.

That being said - it goes to show you why you need to get a written/emailed/faxed confirmation so you have something to verify before shipment can occur. It also helps to check out a company beforehand to see what their return policies are. I've skipped over companies because I've seen 25% restocking fees in their fine print. Especially if it's a costly item I'm buying. Caveat emptor - buyer beware.

I ordered the rotors online & did check my emailed confirmation. I found autopartswarehouse.com while searching a thread in this forum. I just dont see why they cant just exhange the goods and call it a day. I think there call center is in India. ahaha

True. It was partially my fault. I trusted them. My mistake.

actually their call center is in Jersey, not much better but my buddy used to work there in the call center. He lost his job to the cheaper 'English as a second language' guys.

I went on www.autopartswhorehouse.com once and they sent me the wrong one too. After she left I felt sort of sick and I couldn't **** for a week without my eyes watering. It felt like tobasco sauce.
