Default STI brembo brakes

Hey guys, quick question...tired to search but noone ever asked this it seems.....would i be able to install stock sti brembos calibers on a 350z?? i might able to get my hands on some and wondering...........

lol. you cant. its in there somewhere. there are a few threads, but it was found to be more work then its worth, etc.

I remember a thread a while back about puting evo brembo's on a Z...and it wouldn't work I believe...not sure about the Sti though...

damn that sucks i wish that would work i can get those brakes cheaper than the z's brembos

It's highly doubtful that the mounting holes would line up on anything that wasn't made for the Z

lol we would all love to get sti brembos instead of Z/G brembos. everybody would be picking them up off ebay for $400-500 if that were the case.

No.

However, I think the rears from the STi may use the same part - not guarantees on that (uses same pad size and appears to be mounted in similar fashion).

other OEM brembo applications will not work on the 350z. I believe the STI uses the same rear calipers, but OEM brembos use different mounting configurations that are unique to each vehicle.

You should find plenty of used Brembos in classifieds.
