Default rough ridin

i have a 2003 track edition with only 16k on it and it seems like every little bump feels like a pot hole....being as it has the stock 18's and the car is built for the track im not expecting it to ride like a lexus but damn...for the money it costs seems like it would be a little smoother .... maybe different springs or struts would help...any input anybody??? and also how does yours ride ????

It rides like it rides.

I have no idea if you can buy springs and struts that are more comfortable than OEM.

What tires and wheels do you have? If you are running the stock 18" wheels and the OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE040 (with their "wooden-like" very stiff sidewalls) you will have a rough ride that transmits every highway expansion-joint right to the cabin.

I installed Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires (145/40-18 front and 145/45-18 rear) and notice a huge difference. The ride is much softer (very comfortable because of the more flexible sidewall), they grip like glue on dry roadways, and run great in the rain.

make sure that your tire pressures are set to factory specs, and not over inflated

"Daily drivers" driving "boring" cars tend to run tires that are under-inflated. Drivers who operate performance cars often over-inflate the tires.

Manufacturers' chart specifications for all tires are always over-inflated to "report standard specs."

Tires on the Z should be inflated to 34-35 psi.

Assuming that there are no mechanical problems:
when you get used to it, you will appreciate that it's as stiff as it is

lets just say the 2003 ride quality sucked... Get new shocks (tokico) and your ride and handling will improve
