Default Brake Bias w/ Sus & BBK

Has anyone had any problems with too much rear bias after lowering the car and adding Stoptechs ( or any other BBK front and rear)?

I have way to much rear bias. I get lock up with only the rear long before the fronts get close, which engages the ABS and dramatically increases stopping distances

The bias is much much better when the ABS unit is disconnected.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I’m running;
StopTech’s 14.1 front and rear w/ the ST40 front caliper and ST45 rear caliper
Tein Comfort Flex Coilovers with an EDFC
Nismo Front and Rear Sway Bars
Rear Adjustable Camber and Toe Bars (forgot the brand)
Nismo Wheels w/ Nitto 555 255 40 18(front) 275 40 18(rear)

Thanks in advance

That's really odd. Is there any chance that you got the rear calipers mixed up with the front calipers?

I had a rear bias problem when I went to too high a friction pad. I reduce it 10% and the problem is now gone. I have a full T2 set up with Nt-01's and 275's all around.

It is certainly possible to mount the calipers in the wrong orientation from front to rear as they share the same mounting holes so that is something you should probably check. It would also be good to know if you have changed the pads as that can shift the bias around.

A good way to find out is to check the piston sizes on the inside of the caliper. The front pistons should be a lot larger than the rear pistons.
