Question about Rotors
I'm looking at buying drilled and slotted rotors. My question is: Is there anything I need to look out for? Like what type of metal I'm looking at some on ebay for 175 dollars for a pair but then seen some for 600 for all four. I'm not that educated in rotors so any help would be wonderful

Ebay isnt the best place to buy parts unless you know exactly what you are looking for and what you are getting. As for the rotors there is nothing really special that you need to pay attention to other than make sure you get the correct parts for your application. Brembo/Stock - Front/Rear Etc...

There are dozens of quality and hardness grades of cast iron used to pour rotors. Without xray crystallography and similiar lab test hard to tell what quality was used much less how the various after pour quenching and finishing was carried out.
Even to experts things can look the same without rigorous testing.
This should help you understand the basics:

Find out the SAE J431 Grade G7 to G13 of the rotors you plan to buy?

um, what does that have to do with rotors?
but back on topic (since this got resurrected for such a dumb comment) even some reputable brake places sell crappy rotors as well. I would check around, do a search and see what others are using. or just get a stoptech stage 1 or 2 upgrade. might cost a bit more than what you was going to spend, but when it comes to things like the brakes it doesn't hurt to make sure they are done right the first time. saves a lot more in the long run.

from top couple post was talking about ebay buy. so
do yourself a favor...pick up a Stoptech Stage 2 kit - includes rotors, pads, lines, fluid, from a top notch company that supports our community, and who ONLY does brakes (and does it as good as anyone)
