Default JIC Front Carbon fiber Strut bar

I just recieved my JIC carbon fiber strut brace from Z-1 Performance. The transaction was quick and simple. I order the bar yesterday and I recieved it and my ARC panel today.

The performance gain is carbon fiber is lighter and bigger. The bar is lighter and stronger than the factory bar.

I'm not sure on the weight difference. The carbon is lighter....

thanks,
Greg

I find it very hard to believe the stock bar would be 15lbs.

Take it off and hold it in one hand. I was basing it off how a 15 lbs dumbbell feels in my hand. So my error is probably ridiculously bad +/- 5 lbs, but the stock bar is heavier than it looks.

turbo: do you feel comfortable actually sharing the price with us? Z1auto's website isn't updated with listings of parts/prices, it seems.

That CF is niiiice.

Default Tower brace

When asking some autocross/road racers about the performance gains using Tower Strut Bars they told me that they work best when you've changed out your shocks and springs, another words stiffining up the suspension. They also said that its always nice to tie both sides together giving you more response and less flexing BUT usually unless your driving the car REALLY HARD and changing directions aggressively that you probably won't feel a difference using ANY BAR. A lot of the people I asked said that unless you know the car really well that you probably won't feel the difference in having a strut bar what so ever. What do you all think of this????

Hey, at least we get one from the factory.

Call or email Z-1 Performance that. I'm sure they will price match Avalon.
