The balljoint on the upper control arm , pull that and you can flex the lower down a little more till the strut comes out.

You won't find the answer at that site. You need to unbolt the sway bar end link from the suspension arm, pulling the bolt out in the process. Then you need to pull the cotter pin that that is in the bolt that secures the upright to the upper camber arm, then remove the nut. The upper arm will likely be stuck, use a rubber mallet to gently unstick it, carefull once the upright and upper arm seperate the entire suspension will want to fall towards you. You will now be able to push down on the lower suspension arm and remove the shock/spring assembly.

You can do it. The first thing you need to do is use a floor jack and lift up on the lower control arm until you get just enough tension off the end link bolt that is threaded threw the lower control arm. Once you get that bolt out you can move up to the bolt holding the upright to the upper control arm and you'll be free and clear. If for some even seperating the upper arm from the upright doesn't work, then use a spring compressor to releave the tension on the spring.

if u dont have any spring compressor then ur best bet is either get one of ur buddy whos at least 200lbs and a pry bar and that should take care of the rest. Pry them first to see if they are moveable then have ur buddy step on the disc brake then pry them out...

Take the factory jack and put it between the bottom of the inside of your car and the upper a-arm. To prevent damage, put a thick towel or some sort on top of the factory jack and the bottom of the inside of the car. Raise the factory jack slowly and you can probably take out the strut. If this doesn't work, go borrow a manual spring compressor from auto-zone and try again. It should come out no problem.
