Brakes: Replacing Pads and Rotors
Hey guys.
I gotta replace my pads and rotors again. OEM's are pissing me off - this is the second time the OEM parts are dying after 20K. Either the OEM breaks suck, or they're not designed for city driving.
Anyway.
My 2005 non-brembo Z is my main ride, I spend lots of time in traffic; I'm looking for good, street, replacement pads and rotors.
What would you guys recommend? I'm not going for looks, just functionality - i.e. I don't need slotted/drilled (they are great for track, yes, but most ofmy life I spend in Seattle traffic).
Are these a good option? http://store.r1concepts.com/Items/bo...m%20pkg%20194?
Is there something better (maybe cheaper?).
Thanks!

You should outta be good with the rotors from r1, I am running em with Hawk HKS pads, stainless steel brake lines & dot 4 brake fluid. They make a hell of a difference, don't let the "Z snobs" give you crap, cause they bought names to impress the other "Z snobs."
