Default Inner Tie rod replacement

Just bought some Tein Tie rods and would like to know if there is a special tool you need to replace the inner tie rods? i'm pretty good when it comes to wroking on cars but have not tried tie rods yet and i know sometimes you need specialty tools to remove components.

There are technically no special tools required for replacement of tie rods but it can help to have a tie ro separator. This is for separating the outer tie rod from the rest of the suspension. You can rent a kit from most auto parts stores and some of them have special daily rent kits specifically for this part. I would recommend the separator because it makes things a lot easier. For the removal of the oem inner tie rods you will need to immobilize the steering rack. I use a vice that happens to work for the purpose. If you go this way make sure that it will fit and that you protect the rack from metal on metal abrasion.
