Default New pads?

I got the brake light showing up with 22k miles.. i filled up the brake fluid using a dot-3 and the light went away..

But now my brakes squeak and sound horrible..

I have a 2005 roadster w/o brembos, what type of pads do I need? Can I get them on ebay? what type should i be looking for? any specs I should look for?

How hard is it to replace them myself?

If you are not tracking the car any pads made for the car will be fine. For a few bucks more you get get Hawks or EBC, but realistically you probably don't need them. Tire Rack is a good competitive source for pads. Make sure you have a look at the rotors to make sure thay are not scored or cracked anywhere.

Search on brake pads. Lots of discussion regarding this.

Check the DIY section for instructions.
