Hello all. I would like to see some close up pictures of anyone who as used the G2 caliper paint on their non-brembo stock calipers. I've heard good things about this system, but I haven't seen any close up pictures that I know of.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Normally when I see oem non-brembos painted (as shown here), the paint does not work to minimize the dimpled effect of the cast surface of the calipers. Some of these look smooth, but I'm wondering: If I were to paint mine, could I possibly sand the visible surface of the caliper smooth after a coat, and then reapply for a smooth look?

Not a problem with the G2 system. It's an epoxy type coating. You add an activator then you have about 8 hours to use it up. You can recoat after a couple of hours, enough to do 3 or 4 coats in a day. You do need to wait like 24 hours before you mount wheels and drive the car to let the paint cure.
It's thicker than paint so it easily fill in the dimpled surface of the OEM calipers.
