According to the Stance web site the sport has the same features as the GR+, but does not have the pillowball upper mounts. However, when they first split up their line it was said that the sport did not have the same piston diameters as the GR+, which in my mind would go a longer way to explain how the two products differ by $300. Upper mounts with rubber inserts vs pillowpall upper mounts should not cause a $300 price spread. IMO, simply call stance and ask them directly. http://www.stance-usa.com/contacts.php

The Z never uses a pillow ball mount.

Not talking about pillow ball as in having adjustable front or rear camber. No Z33 application can use a upper mount as a means to adjust camber.

Even though a pillow ball upper mount will not have that feature, it's construction still merits mention vs a upper mount that has rubber inserts. They are used on the Z33, they just don't have the ability to adjust camber or anything alignment related and define a all metal construction.

Sorry, thought it was info you might want to know. $300 more is a lot to pay for a small part change in the upper mount. If the part numbers to replace a damper are different sport to GR+, that would tell you if they are the same or not and weather or not owner comments from GR+ owners apply.

Did you speak to a tech at Stance or a reseller?

I doubt this completely. Aren't the spring rates totally different?

I thought the GR Sports are 12kg/5kg and the GR+/Pro are 12kg/11kg

Doubt what?

Spring rates are all the same between sport, GR+, and GR PRO. Where the other spring rate version comes into play is only when you opt for the version that runs it's rear springs in the oem location and that is not a option with the sport.
