hey guys i just got my coilovers in.

and totally lost...

thegold ***** that io place on the top is for ride height? or the dampening?

pics of pointing what is what would be awsome...

***** adjust rebound. The rings at the bottom of the spring part of the front shocks adjust the height. Same goes pretty much for the rears. I'd recommend you have this installed by someone since you seem like an extreme newb (no offense intended)

They don't just adjust rebound, turning the **** adjusts dampning, rebound and compression at the same time. Though some coilovers claim to be DA but only adjust rebound as seen on the dyno.

Top ring closest to the springs adjust's spring preload, which should be kept at the lowest possible levels, the min amount required to keep the spring seated with no weight on the suspension. The middle ring lock's the ring above it in place. The bottom right locks the height adjustment system in place, since his coilovers are a true coilover in the rear, this is also true in the rear.

+1 on having someone else do the install.
