i don't think so, floating rotors are used only with fixed calipers.

if they did .. you'd be giving up your e-brake.

I'd send some enquiries out to various brake manufactures. For the right amount of money, you can have anything you want.

If you buy a used Brembo setup Stoptech makes 2 piece rotors for those. But no one makes a 2 piece for the standard brakes.

with brakes it's one or the other not floating everything. the reason why a rotor is floating or 2-piece is for expansion from heat.

the purpose would be the same on any car i'm not sure why anyone would think you could not use a 2pc rotor with a floating caliper--what would be the reasoning?

as for what vehicles:
E36 M3 euro
E34 M5--3.6 euro, 3.8 euro use a fixed caliper
E46 M3 CSL and US comp package
E60 M5
E63 M6
E85 M coupe/roadster
E90/2/3 M3
i'm sure there are others but i only know of these 100% for sure. i also know there is aftermarket 2pc rotors for bmw's--pfc comes to mind

bimmers love the 1 piston(E60/3 have 2 piston) calipers and 2pc rotors. it works very well for them. the only difference in the bmw rotors are they use a pin drive instead of a rivet/bolt for the hat/rotor connection.
