the purpose of teal is brand identity, it's a dangerous game when it comes to changing a brand characteristic that relies heavily on visual distinction. people that pass by and look at brakes--those who are enthusiasts at least--recognize the branding of project mu by color, from any distance away. when that color is changed to say, Red, then Brembo or stoptech become the assumed branding.
good luck to project mu in future endeavors! They look great btw, just speaking from an industrial designer's perspective here--much love to the brand and color choices!

i don't like this one bit!
The color is what makes them noticable. Hell a few weeks ago a guy spotted my brakes from across a freaking parking lot. We were at least 60 yards from my car and he turns to me and says "are those p mu brakes". Hows that for brand identity?

While I do understand that the teal color has been their trademark, I do approve the new color options Project MU is making available for their BBK. I never considered running Project MU on my own car because of its color. I couldn't get it to match anything on my Z. I was originally going to switch to Endless but now with this new color option from P MU, I definitely have decisions to make.

that teal color was horrible and would never see the light of day on anything i own.
are the rotor hats going to be color matched or are they going to still be ugly?
i understand brand recognition and all, but that can also work against ya.
