will a big brake kit fit on a wheel set up that is 18x8+25 all around?
(just looking for front brakes)

here's my set up.

front tires are 225/45/18
rear tires are 245/45/18

the rims are 18x8+25 all around.

Still depends on the actual wheel, some will fit fine, others will hit with a BBK.

 

ok so how would i find out this info? to be honest i don't even know what brand bbk i would get, but it's just something i would like to add to my car as a mod, if you will.....i guess it's more of an upgrade.

 

wilwood BBK should fit that..i think

Are you referring to stock wheels??

 

stoptech have a paper cutout you print out that you use to check if the calipers fit the wheel, very easy to use

 

You'll fit a 13" BBK and a more then likely a 14" kit as well. The only hangup you'd have is the offset.

Todd does a great job outlining what one should do to see if a kit would fit XX wheel. Measure out from the center of the wheel to the radius of the specific rotor (13" rotor > measure out to 6.5") and take measurements along the way.

Then call up different manufacturers and get their specifications.
