Default slotted brake lines ?

what are slotted brake lines and what do they do. i've never heard of them before and people say its an option on the "track car" and its worth the money ..what is it and is it worth money. im trying to buy a z later on. thanks

They are pretty good, but you may have to add on a flintstone stopper. I'd go with honeycomb. They work better in the corners.

the slotted brake lines allow the lines to breathe better, resulting in better braking response

Seriously, they are only offered on the track and GT models. The usually increase braking by 60% without skidding.

Actually, the cross-drilled brake lines are better than slotted.

It is a more manual type of stopping option. I'll attach a pic. you can see it on the bottom of the car.
