Guys,
This weekend a few friends and I installed my new Wilwood 6 piston kit. Things went very smoothly, took us about 3 hours start to finish. When I took my first drive I heard (and could feel in the steering wheel) a scraping sound, like the pads were rubbing really bad on a part of the rotor (slotted rotors BTW). We checked to be sure everything looked right (the pedal feel was just fine) so I took it out to bed them in (we did do a full bleed when we did it). After bedding them in the scrape sound was much less but after about 100 miles (granted almost all highway miles) the scrape is still there when I brake.
Right now I have the standard pads that came with it (the Wilwood ones) but will be switching to track pads Wednesday night (going to the track this weekend). Is this normal? Do I just need to get everything all bedded and broken in?
Thanks,
Ross

Mine took about 2 weeks of normal driving till the scraping went away. make sure you bed the track pads in well , and you will be fine.

Thanks Terrasmak, I appreciate the info. That's what I was guessing, I feel a lot better now. Will totally bed in the track ones before I get down there - just gotta find a road where I can do it without the law getting pissy at me...
