I just got done swapping a rear rotor because it had a heat stress crack in it. After I was done I went to an empty parking lot to make sure the brakes were functioning properly...
Anyway during very hard breaking I hear humming coming from the front left section of the car (where the ABS motor is it appears). I don't notice it until after i've come to a complete stop, when its still on for about a full second then stops. It only does it during very hard braking, i'm assuming only when the ABS is working.
Is this normal? I've never heard it before... maybe its been there all along I just never noticed it. It seems to be functioning just fine so I don't feel anything wrong but no one likes hearing a sound they haven't heard before when it comes to this type of thing.
