Default High speed braking causing brakes to shudder..

Anything under 80mphs my brakes work perfectly fine. I recently had the front brakes replaced recently, I did not turn/resurface the rotor I felt they looked/felt fine so I just replaced them, and bed them in (not sure if I even did it correctly). I also put on hubcentric wheel spacers on since then too. I have noticed anything 100mph+ speed and firming pressing on the brake pedal will cause my car to start shaking. What would be my solutions to fix this? Yes I know to not go the speeds of 100+ but this is still not normal.

Do you think it was a good idea to save a few $$$ & now have your brakes shuddering?? I would take the brakes apart & have the rotors checked to assure yourself they are within specs & have them turned. I assume you have aftermarket wheels & hence the need for the hubcentric wheel spacers. i would take everything apart and recheck my work.

I didn't do it cause I thought I didn't need to, after searching it up about resurfacing/turning the rotor, not because I needed to save money. It never happened under normal driving condition, and under 80mph. Just when going at really high speed I noticed. And about aftermarket wheels, no I have stock wheels.

You didn't mention how old the car is or how much mileage on the rotors. I just replaced mine because of the shudder when braking. The runout was around 0.008" which is double the max allowed. My new rotors feel smooth as a baby's bottom.

The car is a 2004.5, I bought it a little over 3 months ago with 29,000 miles, about 34500 now. I may replace mines if I need to, I had just never noticed any shudder at all until I started taking it to high speeds on occasion.

No, I believe I had OEM brake pads on there before, replaced them with EBC Reds this time. I am going to check out the rotor this weekend.
