Default Brake Bias Valve???

On fitting my rear sway bars i noticed a small 'thing' which bolted on to one side of the sway bar/end link. Is this a brake bias valve and should i be concerned about how it attached back on as you could not bolt it back on exactly the same.

You wouldn't happen to have RAS would ya? Either that or maybe something to do with the alignment. I thought stock brake bias was in the master cylinder or something else up in the engine when the lines all split to each wheel.

Default non US spec?

Well, im guessing maybe it is some kind of non-US spec part, because i dont see it in the parts breakdown below - via courtesy parts.com

It is OEM because i see where it attaches and says "NISSAN" so maybe the OP can read the part numbers and we can do a internet search under those numbers??

im having a hard time seeing what its connected to, but it looks like its connected directly to the endlink?? am i seeing that right??

OP, what year and make is your car? where did you get it from? and can you post those part numbers on the item i have circled in red. I see your from Scotland?

Has to be some sort of spring loaded torque damper for the sways...

then again, the part circled in red looks to be a completely sealed electrical unit of some sort? like to measure/record movement?

No don't have RAS and it doesn't seem to have anything to do with alignment. It is only on one side.

Yea it's bolted onto the endlink after the sway bar on the (US) driver side

It does not seam to be mounted in a way that it would effect anything the sway does.

just looking through everything again. it seem like part # 56271 is a different part on the mystery part car. That is the part where said mystery part is but it looks different from pic of car to parts break down. Maybe, just maybe it's a G part that got fitted to the Z for some reason or another. I'll check parts break down of RSU for G

Anyone figure out what this is? It doesn't fit on my new end links so had to bolt it to one of the spare holes on the sway. Really need to understand what it does.
