Default Baffle Plate? Rubbing noise when turning left

Hey guys when I turn my wheel the slightest bit to the left I hear this rubbing sound (whomb, whomb whomb). While changing my rotors (DUE TO WARPAGE) last weekend my brother and I noticed that the left front baffle looked a little weird, like it was bent (compared to the right side). Could this be the sound I'm hearing when turning left and switching lanes. And what could have caused it. Could it have been the heat from the rotor. Help me out if you can, I do not want to take it to Nissan, the guys at the dealership are idiots

here is the part I'm talking about circle in red

Bend it back into shape. Its a dust shield.

I think its easy to bend, it probably got bent last time someone was working on something in that area.
