What are you trying to do with them? Drive to the grocery store, or autocross or track?

FWIW, axxis pads are useless for any sort of track driving IMO. For street driving, sure, they're fine.

I haven't heard of those pads, or used them. The Nismo R-Tune pads are the best, but kind of pricy. I touge with them all the time, and they are outstanding. I do a lot of hard late braking, and the brake fade isn't too bad. Minimal brake dust as well. Find them on ebay for $100+shipping... cheaper than anywhere else.

"Ultimate is NOT recommended for use on road courses in front calipers as this can cause uneven pad deposition on rotors as well as resultant vibration." that statement would steer me away from those pads. Rotors are worth more than pads.

Every pad has a graph of friction vs temperature vs pad thickness and another graph which shows friction vs application speed.
Every pad has a friction vs pedal pressure graph.
Every pad manufacturer tests the competition.
The trick is to get all the data:

From what SpoilsofWar said, I wouldn't test the Ult's on a track, but they are probably fine for going to the lake.

Hawk HP+ would probably be enough or nearly enough for track duty, and plenty for auto-x. I've been using HP+ at the track and they are 95% good enough. If I push it really hard lap after lap then I will finally get some brake fade. I'm going to try CarboTech XP12 front and HP+ rear next. A 350Z buddy that also tracks his car has been using that combo and highly recommends it so I'm going to try it.

Ok.....
Everyone.....
Axxis Ultimate pads for Track days suck!!!

Buy the end of the first warm up setion I had pad odor!!!!
At the start of the 3rd session I decided to push the limit....
After passing EVO's, Vette(bad driver), and many M3's when Brake fade came -on...I used My Gears and speed matched to save the brakes for an Oh **** If it came up.....

PLEASE!!!!!!
Is there anyone in this Forum that pushes thier car? And If you still have NON-BREMBO....What pads are working for you.....?

I don't care about daily driving...The pad change takes like 15min...cake!!I will change before track day....
But In this there is a fine line with a pad that will take-out you rotors......
