Default For the guys that have Eibach Sportlines

I think I am going to purchase these springs, I would just like to get some user feedback them. I know they drop the car pretty hard, but are you still able to make it over speedbumps? and overall are you happy with them.

thanks

I have had my sportlines on for about 6 months. They provide a perfect drop IMO.

I dont really have to many problems getting over anything. If you plan on getting an exhaust along with these springs, then expect to scrape haha

what do you have to do to the car when you drop on sportlines? Does the camber or anything have to be adjusted? I put the Pro-kit on mine and i'm pretty happy with it, but I wanted the sportlines but I was told you had to buy all the camber adjustment kits that were high dollar so I just went w/ the pro-kit. And goh I still need to change my antenna to an S2K antenna lol

sweet. that's good news then. Not near as bad as I had expected. How's the ride quality of the sportlines?

I don't have the sportlines, I have the more conservative Pro-Kits. My car hardly looks dropped. In retrospect there are times I really wish I had went with the sportlines and other times I'm glad I didn't. I used to live in Daly City and San Francisco and would scrape...a lot. Going up drive ways, into parking lots, shopping centers, etc. All of my previous cars were dropped, so I know how to drive a lowered car and yet I still scrape from time to time. My current location is much more flat than SF so I don't scrape as much anymore.

For mine, it's about a 1" drop all around and while there is no more wheel gap, it doesn't look dropped. I had a camber kit installed and an alignment done right after installation and a few months after.

While a good camber kit will keep you within stock specs, it's not terribly necessary. At most, your tires will wear uneven and your car will look "butterflied." I suggest you go ahead and get a good kit. I hope this helps.

I love my Sportlines....it's the perfect drop in my opinion
I can get over about 90% of speed bumps without scraping...you just have to drive at an angle.

I thought about switching from the Pro-kit to the sportlines, but I just dont really know if that'll be too much for the kinda driving i'll be doing... how much difference is there?

You've never seen a Z with sportlines? If not, you have to see one in person. It's a good drop. I mean, you see it and know it's lowered for sure. If I were you, I'd save up and get adjustable coilovers if you're going to drop good bread on a kit and lower-body aero. That way, you can raise and lower as you need to. From what I've been hearing, Stance coilovers are really nice and for an ok price. My 2 cents.

Good suggestion. May stick to that idea. Probably get better performance out of a coilover setup anyway. I also have been reading a lot about the Stance coilovers lately. I may check those out. Thanks for the good idea.

Gladly, however it'll be a bit before I can afford to go w/ coilovers. I'm waiting on a set of wheels that i'll most likely end up sending back, and I want to complete my V2 kit also.
