Default Brake rotor wear, take a look; give me advise

Two days ago my right rear brake started making this funny noise whenever I depressed the brake petal. It sounded like my brake's wear senor was rubbing my rotor. I went to check out if my pads had run down and this is what I found.

i looks like the pad has run down and has damaged my rotor. So my question is, do I have to replace this rotor, or can I get it resurfaced? Should I also replace any of my other rotors?

My front rotors are fine, and my rear left one is only a little worn on the outer edge. I'm able to feel with my finger that the outer edge of the rear left one is a little more indented than the center part.

as long as its not close to the min spec it can be cut, if not it will have to be replaced. Mic the rotor.

I'll try to mic it, but the sound comes in and out. It seems to be especially loud when its cold out.
It sounds something like a blade on ice, only rougher. No squeaks.

Also I have a bad feeling that most shops that I will take this to will tell me I need new rotors. I can get my step dad to look at it, but he lives pretty far from me. I'd rather just take it to a trustworthy spot in the OC. I would even order some oem rotors on mynismo.com if I need to replace them. While on the topic, are there any less expensive, yet as effective alternatives to oem rotors?

if ur still driving it like that then everytime u hit the brake ur making more of a chance that you will need a new rotor.

Thats what credit cards or savings is for, emergencies.

I would try and talk to some of the vendors on here to see if you can get a cheap set of new rotors or take the busted one to a local machanic and see if he can do something for you, than asking for opinons with a shot of a rotor with the wheel still on.

-2cents-

Cant tell much from a photo. Measure the thickness, and see if you have enough surface left to have them turned.

I can take a look if you want. I have a thread gauge as well as the tools to change out brakes. Need a place to work on it though.

can't really tell from the pics.

if it's possible, just resurface the damaged rotor and replace the pad.

otherwise, stoptech sells rotors for a lot cheaper than oem. qualitywise it's the same. if you get the slotted ones then even better.

Is this your first time replacing the rotor/brakes? Have they been surfaced before? To me it doesn't look that bad. If this is the first time ever messing with the rotor you should be ok resurfacing them. The rear correct? Just take both of them off and take them to a shop and have them measure it for you. The measurements don't lie. I forgot whats the minimum requirements but a quick search could get you there.

EDIT: all data FTW
Not sure what model you got but here is the minimum
CLZ25VD- (22.0 mm) (0.866 in)
OPB27VA- (28.4mm) (1.118 in)

I believe the OPB27VA are track model rotors... *correct me if i'm wrong*

Just remember the 2 mm rule:

Maximum rotor wear: 2 mm

Minimum pad thickness: 2 mm
