Default creaking

I've recently started hearing a creaking noise coming from the front of my '03. I'm not positive, but it seems to be the driver's side. It mostly does it while entering a stop or accelerating from a stop. It also does it at times on slow speed bumps.

What's your year and milage? I'm at a tick over 60K. The only thing that I can think of is a bad strut.

endlinks and sway bar bushing can also cause this.

going bad for wither one. Grease could actually help the sway bar bushings.

Thanks for the help guys. I think I'm going to pull the sway bar sunday and check out the links and lube up the bushings, since I always prefer to start with the cheap/free solutions. If the links are bad I should be able to feel play or roughness in the ball/socket, right?
