i'll be putting on the stoptech stage 2 kit this weekend, and i was wondering if anyone knew what the specs are to re-torque the bolts for the calipers and the rotors...any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Don't have the torque specs handy, but thought I might just shoot you an FYI on rear rotor removal since it seems to be such a mystery to most who end up resorting to brute force:

If I arrive home before someone answers I'll make sure and open the FSM and shoot the torque specs your way

another quick question for anyone...i know the pumpkin in the rear is a jackpoint, but i heard that it's bad to jack up the car from that spot? has anyone jacked up their car from the pumpkin? any problems?
113 ft lbs for the front calipers, 62 ft lbs for the rears. (from 2006 service manual)
Jacking up from the pumpkin is fine. You may want to put a block of wood or something on the jack to avoid and scraping... not necessary though.

wait, there are 2 bolts that take the caliper off and 2 bolts that take the caliper bracket off (to remove the rotor), right? so are the torque specs the same for all 4 bolts?
Trending Topics
Brembo & Non-Brembo have same torque specs (per 2003 FSM):
Front Calipers: 113-114 ft-lb
Rear Calipers: 53-71 ft-lb
There are two bolts securing each caliper to the axle, front and rear. I jack my car up from the rear diff all the time, no issues at all. And like the kinn said, if you're concerned about scraping, a piece of thick cardboard (doubled up) should do the trick.

Here's a pic of the brake components non-brembo, then Brembo...
