Default Hawk Ceramic Pads

If anyone has been thinking about trying these things, do it. I had been looking for a pad for my stock Brembo's that would dust a lot less, bite just as good as OE pads, and no squeal. The first pad I tried was the PosiQuiet's. While those dusted very very little and there was no squeal, the bite was not as good and the pad was soft. I already have SS Braided Brake Lines and some Motul Fluid and even though the pedal travel was a lot less, you could just feel it in the pedal that the PosiQuiet's felt soft. When trying to stop from 80mph, I did not feel 100% confidence in the pad. This is where the Hawk Ceramic Pads come in. These things dust extremely little, have absolutely no squeal, and the bite is better than OE pads. They also feel nice and firm unlike the PosiQuiet's. While I've only had these pads on my car for a day, I feel very happy with them for daily driving and I feel like I have more confidence in braking when I need to stop in a hurry. A big thanks to Rob and the gang at Z Car Garage for installing them for me and to Adam at THMotorsports for giving me a great deal. I'll try to update this thread later on as the pads break-in.

I've had mine on for about a year. I got tired of cleaning all of the crud off of my front wheels and these definitely filled the bill. The only dirt on my wheels now is just your basic road junk.

I'm curious how the Hawk Ceramics would match up to the Endless Vita Nuova's in regards to initial bit and Max Operating Temp...

Good to know about the ceramic pads. My Hawk HPS pads are about done, so I've been thinking of ordering another set. However, I think I'll try seeing if I can't find some at the local parts store.

The Hawk Ceramic's are by no means track pads but they're a great daily driver pad. I'm sure they cost a lot less than the Endless pads.

The Endless are a street pad also. I'm just not too excited to pay $220 for pads only again!!

Same pad I ran on another car of mine. Really is a nice daily driver pad with low dust and noise. Not really for a super aggressive driver/track event, but if dust is bothering you then they are the better bet.
