Finally got Brembo Brakes... Off an R35...
19's suck. point blank. I've run them for years. Tires are overpriced and performance
suffers BIGTIME.
I specifically set out for the perfect set of 18's and I really feel like these are close.
Trying to acquire a set of RGII's also.
I'd run 17's if I could
...
My paint sucks. I've had so many spot jobs, lips, bumpers, quarters painted its sick.
Next step is a full refresh to color correct everything.
I'm waiting on someone to finish his GREEN car so that we can get mine in the
booth.
Prob do a simple weld in red cage and new seats, '07-'08 panels, stereo, basically
a major update. Car is paid for might as well blow a few more thou to make her perfect.

Was warned by kwame that rpf-1/s have limited brake clearance.
I'd make sure you test fit over your new blueski's first. gtc-01 seems more
bbk friendly design wise, and almost everyone in jland was running it on their
track cars over the last year...

Sorry, didnt read the whole thread so I dont know if the rotor diameter you're using is mentioned, but my 6 piston AP kit with 14.25" rotors will not clear on 18" RPF1's. Sad, cause I really wanted to use them. Inner barrel diameter is just not big enough. Anyway, it that may or may not help you because the caliper sizes are different between the AP's and the R35 Brembo's, but judging by the pictures alone, I feel pretty confident saying RPF1's would not clear.

Green Goblin has been working on my car for a while now,
and he's finally chosen to create an internet place to
showcase his exploits... don't sleep.
Suffice it to say we've got a few tricks and sleeves.

So if I were to do this project myself and if you would let me reproduce your bracket designs ect without the cost of the brakes. What do you think the cost would be for everything that went into I guess I would call it the installation kit?

Do the SSR TypeF's run about the same price as CE28N's? The Type F's are forged right?
I like the overall look of the car... well done
I am not 100% sure... I got them in a vicious trade, so very little actual cash
changed hands. The SSR's have MUCH better bbk clearance, so this was my
personal deciding factor.

Yeah now that I have the akebono kit practically nothing clears...not even 19" SF challenge. And I hate spacers.
I'd be happy to give you more input on my experiences...
I've fitted a handful of wheels to my setup - the most dramatic being
18x9.5" +12 te-37's! Some will surprise, but most need spacers.
I am adamant about never running them again based on some
bad experiences.
