Just installed my Ksport Gt springs, say 1.2inch drop, and also did the rear springmount mod...doesnt look to bad but be better when I get some real wheels.
Okay I only saw a couple threads on the interweb of someone having bought the Megan racing lowering springs. After much consideration and due to my success with Megan parts on Hondas, I decided to be "the guy that tries that part"
Lol
I called Megan and they say these are made in Japan and spun individually. SAE 9254 cold wound steel. Supposedly NOT cookie cutter springs. Springs rates are 384 front and 328 rear. 1.25 inch drop all around. The price was very agreeable at $137 shipped on sale price from a site sponsor.
I'll be installing them this evening and I'll go for a test drive.
To be continued......
So the Megan's give the car a very nice drop. No need to do the rear spring mount mod at all.
Gave Zeke a hard test drive this morning over some bumpy roads and through some tight corners.
Stiff but not bouncy. Definite improved response on the corners. No bottoming out on the shocks.
We'll see how they settle but I'm pleased to start. Nice drop height.
I think they'll be great for a DD.
I may of missed this, but went through 20 pages and did not see anyone with Hotchkis or Tein-S-Tech on a 40 profile tire. 255/40/18F 275/40/18R to be exact.
Thanks
