2006 Enthusiast on Hotchkis springs. 255/35/19 front, 285/35/19 rear, +22 offset front, +12 offset rear.

I'm finally fed-up enough with the crappy drop on these springs to get coilovers. For example, in this pic I'm parked downhill and the front wheel gap is still bigger than the rear. On more extreme inclines it looks even worse. The spring rates are softer than stock and the thing just wobbles all over the place.

Good riddance Hotchkis!

^^^You'll see and notice a huge difference! Whats your budget for coilovers? Gonna be lower than that pic?

I was looking to spend around $1200 or less...knowing that this gets me into an entry-level coilover setup. I am strongly considering BC Racing BR series. I want to get the tires just barely tucking, about the same amount front and rear, which I'm thinking will get me back to that slightly raked-forward stance that the car had from the factory (just lower, of course).

What is your coilover setup on the Nismo? I really like the way that turned out.

I would strongly recommend STANCE if you are gonna spend that much. Really, I have driven on some "baller" coilovers and really do think these Stance coilovers are amazing.

Here is what I'm running, check this write-up about my stance's I did...

Thanks for following up. I ended up buying BC BR coilovers actually, and hoping to get them on the car this Saturday. Out of curiosity what are your wheel and tire specs?

i couldn't agree more.

i only had my springs for 3 months and got rid of them for some stance coils.

i was saving for wheels and finally decided to go with coils instead. i could not be happier. best purchase i've made for the Z thus far.

Is anyone on ksport lowering springs? And has anyone heard anything about them? For only 99 shipped and a 1.2 drop all around... I think I might pick them up.

^Always a good idea to at least get an alignment after changing suspension. Id say he was the exception.

Here is the Eibach Pro Kit on a 2004 Touring, just finished the install (no spring bucket mod yet) just standard swap from standard springs. Thought i'd upload this as a reference as I hadn't seen too many of them around

and these will be on next week!
