Default Massive understeer!

heres to story. Weeks ago it rained for about a week straight in FL, lot of roads got flooded and a lot of new potholes came up. I accidentally drove through one and popped my rear tire. so i got two new rear tires and mounted them. Now my car has massive understear. i used to take a certain turn at 80, now i can barely take it at 50mph without the slip indicator coming on and the front brakes activating. the car feels so slugish and not responsive. I took it to nissan and all the suspension parts looked fine. Would a simple alignment fix this? any help would be appreciated!!

sounds like your new rear tires have significantly better grip than your old front tires. Replace the front tires

put the car on an alignment rack and make sure 1. everything is in spec and 2. nothing is bent

Posts 2 and 3 are perfect. Both of them are likely correct.

What are the sizes of your front and rear tires?

Did you replace the rears with the exact same tire that was on it before?

It could be a damaged strut.....one bad strut can throw the entire car off!

thanks for the feedback! sorry it took so long to respond i was out of the country for work. Currently am running 265/30 19s rear and 245/35 19s front on volks sf challenges. I took the car to nissan all suspension parts look okay. I know in terms of motorcycles an old front tire and a fresh rear tire will give u "push" or understeer, but the fronts are in okay condition. id say 70% life left. i also replaced the rears with the same brand of the front which were what i ran previously. toyo t1r's. nissan tried to align the new tires but the car wouldnt fit on the rack...to low! which surprised me cuz it works on the gtr and i dont have the car tucked, just 1.5 rear and 2 inch drop in front. thank you everyone for the feedback keep the ideas coming!

Its not going to tuck as easy with to small of a wheel in the rear, but with that drop its not just lowered it fing slammed. Remember , you starter off with a low to the ground sports car, then dropped the hell out of it.

BTW you have the wrong rear tires on it. TCS/VDC should hate you.

It does, that's why he's getting Slip lights when turning at speed.
