Default does anyone here run Whiteline Sways?

i've searched and i've found some info on the sways themselves, but haven't found any reviews on them from forum members.

Does anyone run these sways? any opinions on them? and if you do run them, what settings are you running and how does it effect the car in regards to making more oversteer/understeer happy, or make it neutral?

thanks for the input!

Post the info you found on them and what price you can get them for.

IIRC when I found out Whiteline was offering them a few years ago, I looked at the specs and didn't see the point and mentioning they were avaliable. Curious to see what info you found and at what selling price.

Here is the info from a vendor in the classifieds:

https://my350z.com/forum/suspension/...-in-stock.html

"We love 350Z suspension parts here at Z1. We're forever trying out new toys towards that goal of offering affordable, sensible suspension related mods. With that in mind, we're very proud to now offer the full range of suspension goodies from Whiteline.

We've got their swaybars in stock and ready to go. These are solid steel bars, and measure 32mm up front, and 20mm out back. They come with integrated collars on both front and rear bars to prevent "walking". The front is 2 way adjustable, the rear is 3 way adjustable, allowing the user to tailor them to any road condition, tire combination, and track that you desire. Full urethane bushings are included for front and rear, and there are no known exhaust inteference issues like on some other aftermarket sways. I think the best way to look at these sways is a less expensive, more adjustable, more complete version of the Cusco units - a win, win on all accounts! Fits all 2003-2008 350Z models, as well as G35 coupes.
Price for the front is $229 shipped, price for the rear is $209 shipped. Front and rear combo is $399 shipped. "

Info off the Whiteline Website:
http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_..._number=BNF33Z
http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_..._number=BNR30Z

Front bar rate increase over Stock Version 2 1322lbs Model yers 2004.5 to 2008.

Soft setting +17%
Hard setting +38%

Rear bar rate increase over original

Soft setting +5%
Medium setting +25%
Hard Setting +63%

BNF33Z has 2 hole adjustment. Increase approximately 10-40%
BNR30Z has 3 holes. Increase approximately 10-35-110%

Here's the huge problem with aftermarket sway bar selection for these cars, a black hole of reliable put it in the bank factual specs. That is why when ever I talk about making bar recommendation's I alway's tell people to not chase bar specs as a reason to buy one product over the other. You are much better off making your choice based on having the adjustablity you want, going with a brand you trust that sell's for a price you feel is justified.

Case in point

Whiteline 32mm solid front bar full stiff +40% to oem
EVO350* 32mm solid front bar full stiff +30% to oem
Cusco 35mm solid front bar full stiff +37% to oem
Hotchkis 35mm hollow front bar hole 3 +82% hole 4 full stiff + 129%
Cobb 35mm hollow front bar hole 3 +85% hole 4 full stiff +135%
^IMO the Hotchkis and Cobb bar specs should read as follows
Hotchkis front bar hole 4 full stiff +29%
Cobb front bar hole 4 full stiff +35%

H&R which is the only manufactuer to offer a 36mm solid front bar and Eibach both play it smart and do not publish bar specs.

Also, who among any of these manufactuers has updated their specs to acknowlege that in 2004.5 when Nissan revised the suspension they also upped the front sway bar stiffness by 17%? Most all of the published specs are based on the original softer front bar. Which is why Nismo S-tune bars are a no win mod for 2004.5 cars.

Nismo Sway Bar:
F: 36mm, hollow, 23.2 kg/mm
R: 22.2mm, hollow, 6.7 kg/mm

Front 1299lbs +18% to oem 2003/2004
Rear 375lbs -1% to oem 2003/2004

Oem 2004/2004
Front 1100lbs (EVO350 test's show 1130lbs)
Rear 380lbs (EVO350 test's show 385lbs)

vs 2004.5 oem front bar 1322lbs -2%

*EVO350 has the only specs I believe, they have told us the oem bar stiffness specs in lbs and their own bar specs in lbs. Here's a table showing those specs. I added stiffness vs oem, for all model year's.

Oem 350Z sway bar stiffness in lbs vs. 350EVO sway bar stiffness in lbs

Front bar
Stock Version 1: 1130lbs Model years 2003 & 2004
Stock: Version 2 1322lbs Model yers 2004.5 to 2008

350EVO Front 32mm solid
350Evo soft: 1010lbs Softer then version 1 by 11%
350Evo med: 1243lbs Stiffer then version 1 by 10%
350Evo stiff: 1475lbs Stiffer then version 1 by 30%

350Evo soft: 1010lbs Softer then version 2 by 24%
350Evo med: 1243lbs Softer then version 2 by 6%
350Evo stiff: 1475lbs Stiffer then version 2 by 11%

Rear bar
Stock: 385lbs
350 EVO Rear 24mm solid
350Evo soft: 378lbs Softer by 2%
350Evo med: 490lbs Stiffer by 28%
350Evo stiff: 607lbs Stiffer by 58%

So, you should be asking if the Whiteline bar set is worth $75 greater cost then the progress bar set

Whiteline
Front: 32mm solid 2 way adjustable
Rear: 23mm solid 3 way adjustable

Progress
Front 33mm solid 3 way adjustable
Rear 23mm solid 2 way adjustable

If you have to have a min amount of adjustablity front and rear of 3 holes, get the Hotchkis bar set which spits the two products price wise.
