Default need to replace everything - brakes

So my current brake setup is 2 yrs old, it has run its course and now needs to be replaced...

I need front / rear rotors and pads

Also want to get SS brake lines...

anyone can recommend any rotor brands and SS lines from experience?

I hear stop-tech rotors are good and agency SS lines are good too?

I'm probably going to end up buying oem pads unless something better comes along, I had bad experiences with hawks

thanks in advance.

I just did rotor and pads on mine, used brembo blanks and Hawk pads. What was your bad experience with Hawk? Also, what are you going to be using the car for, cruising, drag racing, track, auto-x?

What was your bad experience with Hawk? I have Hawk HPS or something like that and I love them.

http://z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?model...ng&prodid=2291

includes everything you need

can also put together more custom packages with Powerslot/Stoptech rotors, stainless lines, performance oriented pads, etc

thanks guys, I was actually looking to possibly get some stillen 1piece gold-hats, they are pretty good, I ran them on my s13 back in the day and had no issue drifting as far as wear was concerned...

From my experience, and I've tried 3 different hawk pads for street, track, drift they are loud, and dusty as hell...I had to go through a period of "breaking them in" before they were even moderately better than stock...again my experience I am sure its unique.

I like the R1 rotors especially the painting you talked about davidv - would you happen to have pix of it on your z?

thanks

^they are very nice, though for the price of two front ones, 4 + pads can be had...so for now I'll see how it works out, if the R1's don't last more than a year I'll spring for the nice ones
